I was looking for a cable in my attic and I found a rusty piece of metal fitted with a wooden handle. I brought it down to throwing it away. Then I thought, this is my Air Rifle and that was a gift from my uncle in 1994. The butt of the handle was broken. It is India GNW 0.22 cal face Grill tip, scope rail and an excellent trigger. They no longer make it. I bought a Chinese made Sisco Air Rifles a few weeks ago and because the pathetic performance (could not even pierce a coke can at 10m), some new boxes of .22 pellets in my closet. Loading the old .22 rifle with a pellet, setting up an empty Coke can, aimed and fired a shot. I was totally surprised. I gave it a quick overhaul, fixed with some nylon rope (the screws on the sides are not available, I searched for another solution) and put to zero with some rusty tricks. Now it is amazingly accurate even at 20m. Here is a coke can and my old air rifle.
